Meet the Principal, Bryant Roberson
A letter from Mr. Roberson
As the new principal of Dorman High School, I would like to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year. I look forward to serving in my new role as we continue Dorman’s tradition of excellence, where children are always first. After serving at Dorman for 11 years in administration, I look forward to continuing to work with our highly qualified faculty and staff, students, parents, and community as principal. The administration, faculty, and staff are committed to providing the highest quality education for all students through a challenging curriculum, first class facilities, and a safe and nurturing environment.
I believe it is important for families, schools, and the community to work together in supporting student success. We value family and community collaboration with the school and believe it is necessary for all students to reach their goals and have a full educational experience. I encourage parents to be actively involved in the education of their students and work with teachers to meet educational goals. Please share your ideas, concerns, and recommendations with me on how we can better serve the students of Dorman High School.
I encourage students to take personal responsibility for their education and get involved in sports, clubs, fine arts, theater, and extracurricular activities. I look forward to working with all students as we continue to make Dorman an exciting and fun place to learn in the great Cavalier spirit. Please share your ideas, recommendations, and concerns about school safety, academics, community service, and school climate.
It is an honor and privilege to serve the students, faculty and staff as principal of Dorman High school.
Principal, Dorman High School
