About Me
I have been teaching in South Carolina since 1994, after leaving law enforcement for the classroom, and I greatly enjoy working at Dorman High School and in District Six, where the sense of family is evident. In 1992, I joined the United States Navy as a Master-at-Arms. I retired last August as a Chief Petty Officer after I returned from an overseas contingency deployment with NSW DEVGRU. I have also been a member of NCIS SE Field Office and Carrier Strike Group Four. The thousands of miles and years of serving aboard and domestically allow me a unique opportunity to enrich my lessons for my students. My wife, herself a product of Dorman High School, provides leadership in instruction across the district, and our daughter also graduated from Dorman. We are a Gamecock family, love God, love America, and adore our English Springer Spaniel, a Golden Retriever, and one crazy cat!
