This is my first year at Dorman but I recently taught 7th grade social studies at Gable Middle School here in D6. I have the privilege of being the 2024-2025 GMS Teacher of the Year!
I am excited to be here at Dorman High School. I am looking forward to building relationships and teaching all my students. In my classroom I will foster a positive, respectful, fun learning environment where students are encouraged to engage in learning, collaborate with peers, and take appropriate risk. My top priorities include student safety, well being, and learning. This will be achieved through project based learning, whole class & peer discussion, and direct instructional periods!
I will be teaching U.S. History and Sociology this school year! I coach football at Gable and baseball here at Dorman! My wife Sara also works here at Dorman as the Digital Content Creator and we are expecting our first child this Fall 2024!
