A Letter to Seniors from Mr. Roberson

Dear Senior Students and Parents,

We have put a lot of thought and planning into this year’s graduation and senior celebrations to make this year special. This senior class is a remarkable group of young men and women who have demonstrated maturity and resolve in the face of adversity. This school year has brought extreme highs and lows yet you have remained focused and I am proud to serve as your principal. The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way we operate, but we feel it is tremendously important to honor this history-making senior class.

We have heard from students, parents, and community members, and, with your input, we have scheduled several events recognizing seniors during the month of May. We have planned these senior celebrations with guidance from the Department of Education and the governor. We will be observing social distancing at each event and do all we can to keep our students and staff safe. Please refer to the Dorman website for a schedule of events.

I believe there is no greater calling than to serve and educate young people. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to serve as your principal. We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.

#ALWAYSACAVALIER

Bryant Roberson, principal
