Summer 2026 Programs

AgriFCS Academy at SC State University June 7, 2026 - June 13, 2026 (Sophomores & Juniors) This residential academy is designed to give high school students the experience of being a college student while learning about careers in Agriculture and Family & Consumer Sciences.  Topics & events will include the following:
  • Career awareness sessions
  • Networking with SC State administrators, faculty, staff, and students
  • Applying to SC State University
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • Excursions
  • Team-building activities
All expenses are paid. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and complete the attached application.

Lehigh University Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive (9th – 12th Grade) The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive (IGEI) is a three-week, immersive, experiential learning opportunity for high school students to develop skills in entrepreneurship, leadership and global citizenship. At IGEI, participants take on complex, multi-system, global challenges in creative and collaborative ways. This year’s program runs July 5 to July 25, 2026 on Lehigh’s campus in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Information, application and cost available online at https://global.lehigh.edu/iacocca-institute/IGEI.

 

Rhodes Mock Trial Academy is a week-long residential program where students learn to build courtroom skills, explore constitutional law, and experience life at Rhodes. This credit-earning program includes daily instruction, trial prep, social events, and final trial performances. Taught by expert faculty and national champions, this immersive experience is ideal for aspiring legal minds. Limited scholarships are available. The dates of the program are June 21 - 29. Rhodes Summer Academy is a unique two-week residential program offering motivated high school students an immersive credit-earning experience with college-level courses in academic fields such as chemistry, medicine, creative writing, art, coding, and business. All courses are taught by Rhodes faculty, and the dates of the program are June 21–July 2. Students who apply before March 15 receive a $200 early registration discount! South Carolina Business Week July 19-24 (sophomores - juniors) Business Week is held at the University of South Carolina –Columbia.  It is designed to educate student on entrepreneurship, leadership and the American free enterprise system.  Students must pay $75 fee.  Information and application available online at www.scbusinessweek.com. UNC Asheville Pre-College Programs June 14-19 ans June 21-26 Each Pre-College Program will run from Sunday to Friday, with topics spanning the arts and sciences. Participants will live on-campus to fully experience university life and the surrounding Asheville community. United States Miltary Academy at West Point Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) (current juniors) SLE is a rigorous five-day, overnight immersion led entirely by current West Point cadets.  SLE offers an authentic look at cadet life and challenges students academically, militarily, physically, and socially. Students can choose between three SLE sessions: Session 1: May 30 – June 3; Session 2: June 5 – June 9; Session 3: June 11 – June 15.  Cost is $495 (Scholarships are available).  Information and application available online at https://apply.westpoint.edu/portal/candidate

Designed for students ages 13 and up, the Online Immersion Program allows learners to explore potential academic and career interests through in-depth online coursework led by Wake Forest faculty.
