Dorman High School's Ethics Bowl team has claimed its second consecutive state championship at the South Carolina Ethics Bowl! The event, held on Saturday, January 25, at Wofford College, brought together 12 high schools—both public and private—from across the state.
With this victory, Dorman advances to a regional match against the Maryland state champion on February 13. A win there will secure their second trip to the National Ethics Bowl Competition in Chapel Hill, NC, this April.
The Ethics Bowl is a philosophy-based competition where teams of five engage in thoughtful discussions and debates on ethical and moral dilemmas. Congratulations to Dorman's Ethics Bowl team and their dedicated coaches, Chris Smutzer and Kathie Martin, on this outstanding achievement!
